UFO's over the Night Sky

Tuesday August 12.2008 at 2:00am till 5:00am, my girlfriend and I were outside on the street looking up at the stars when we noticed that alot of Activity was happenning in the skies above, to the east we noticed a cluster of so called stars, must have been about 10 of them, and there  was also 2 blinking objects changing 3 colors (Red,Green&white), I then <!--break--> decided to go and get my High Powered Flashlight from inside to try and signal them and apparently it worked. To the North we noticed another object flashing, everytime i'd use the flashlight as Morse Code, the oject would move in closer.  To the right of this object was what looked to be a star moving accross the sky, it was lit up (white), we both kept our eyes on it, the light faded on the object and we could still see it crossing the sky, then lit up again and disappeared into the clouds. I kept using the Flashlight as morse code and the object kept moving in closer, I would move the flashlight  in a different direction and the object responded in a zigzag kinda movement. At around 3:40am, what looked like a plane coming in from the Northwest with Bright White Lights, as it passed over the Apt Buildings it veered sharply to the right and slowed  down over another block of Apts in front of Us and we then realized that this was No Plane because it wasn't making any noise, As it headed moving South, it stopped in Mid Air above some Semi-detached homes where we noticed that at the rear of the Object , Bright Red Lights were present. We stood watching it for about 2 mins as it Hovered making No Sounds whatsoever and then it headed South and disappeared. We stayed outside watching to see if it would return and about 4:45am it returned from the North decending and then disappeared again.
