Shocked Witness Describes UFO Sighting in Northern Arizona
Submitted by UFO Guy on Thu, 05/31/2007 - 21:16.
Something very odd occurred in the sky above Northern Arizona. Read the witnesses report:
This is completely uncharacteristic of me..... but I have no explanation for the following.
My wife and I had been away from home for a few days. After only 20 minutes of being back in the house, we heard a very loud noise approaching outside.
Instantly thinking 'car' or 'train' and quickly discounting those thoughts, I jumped and ran outside. The aircraft-like noise boomed through the air like an extremely fast, low flying aircraft. But what I saw next made me drop my glass of Iced Tea...
Two sets of glowing red orbs spinning around each other in perfect cylindrical form... then the heart-stopping separation; together they took off sharply to the northwest, and the other two went slightly northeast. The Northwestern orbs continued in that direction for some time. The sound passed quickly. The northeastern set seemed to stop altogether and dim until they appeared as no more than faint stars.
As I continued to watch the same area, the most brilliant shooting star tore from the upper right to the lower left quadrant of the sky!
As I continued to look in that one direction, my peripheral vision picked up 10-15 aircraft - high, low, fast, stationary - all in the same quadrant. My wife can verify this. It's as if they knew about those red orbs.
I don't know what the hell happened. It is not characteristic of this area to be home to massive air traffic (and what the hell were those orbs?!)
And I don't know what to think - I'm an intelligent, logical person. I could find nothing regarding this phenomenon on any satellite news or otherwise channel. I can find no mention or astronomical explanation on the internet (meteor shower, homeland security, I've tried many things).
If ANYONE saw this in the same time period and area - or if anyone reads something that could be offered as an explanation to this, I am completely open for suggestion.

The previous comment occured on May 31, 2007 at between 9:15 and 9:30 PM mountain time.
My neighbor and I were out on the back porch on the phone and witnessed a large fireball shoot down from the sky . It came from right to left . It was VERY large and was bright yellow like the sun and had a green tinge to it, and a tail. At first she thought it was a shooting star.......and I waited for an explosion, but nothing.
I have called the paper and the news and can not believe as large as it was nobody had seen it. It went down behind the mountain across the lake. We live on the east side of Canyon Ferry Lake, in Townsend Montana.
I thought maybe it was space junk, or even a plane going down in full fire. It was about 9:15- 9:30 PM mountain time...........still light out. The size of it was like anything I have ever seen. Very disturbing. I was waiting for the ground to shake when it hit !
I wish somebody in Montana has seen this also . All you had to be doing was looking to the west. It was so large, you couldnt miss it.
The fact that something similar was seen in Northern Arizona on the same day and time is more than disturbing.
If anyone else has seen this fireball in Montana, please repond.

OMG im a little freaked out ...
Pretty freaky, thanks for posting. What I find most interesting about your sighting is the part about the meteor ripping through the sky just after you saw the orbs. Im starting to think that there might be some sort of connection with meteor showers and ufo sightings.
I was vacationing at a lake in California (Clearlake), a few years ago, and one evening, while stargazing on the deck of our rented lake house, we saw the most incredible meteor falling straight down from the top of the sky to almost the horizon. It burned and sparked for almost 5 or 6 seconds.
All of us simultaneously yelled out "ooohs" and "aaaahhhhs" and "woo hoos" :-)
Within a moment of that, nearly at the same point where the meteor burned out, 3 bright white lights suddenly appeared at once, little point lights, nothing big, one above the next, in a vertical orientation, and from that point, shot straight across the sky to the opposite horizon within about 5 seconds! No joke. I was absolutely dumbfounded with my jaw open the entire time. It made no sound whatsoever.
None of us knew what to say, we were just stunned, staring out at the night sky. At some point, i said "what the hell was that!!!?" No one had any kind of coherent answer.
To this day (some four years later) that event still boggles my mind.
btw, the lights were fixed together, that is, they were not independent. They moved as one entity. I had the impression that they were attached to somthing, like one of those old tv antennaes. I dont know why i thought that, but that is what i remember.
