Police UFO

On Monday night, January 28 2008, at about 7:30 PM, my father in law and I saw a UFO.

We were on our way back from picking up a van that my mother in law had purchased from a dealer in Kelowna, British Columbia Canada.  My Girlfriend and mother in law were driving in front of us, when they slowed down near the crest of a hill.  

We had noticed some lights down the highway in front of us.  It was a fresh snow that night and this was a dangerous highway.  And it looked like police lights up ahead.  So we thought for sure there must be an accident scene up ahead.  We thought that's why our traveling companions were slowing down...
 
As we got closer to the lights we realized that it wasn’t on the highway but above the highway.  Our next thought was that it was an airplane or helicopter...

The object kept hovering above the highway, traveling towards the west. I slowed down enough so that I could look out my window.  I was in In awe.  I pulled over so I could get out of the car and take a better look. 

The object didn’t make any noise.  It was completely silent.

Looking at the object I could make out the shape.  It was shaped like a diamond.  It had three lights on it: a red light, a light that changed from red to blue, and another red light.  The object kept moving slowly.  

It followed the highway, and then cut over the mountain towards that mine (Brenda Creek mine?).  Our coordinates were 49۫ 54’42” 120۫ 02’58”.

Based on the three lights & diamond shape, this description should be enough to determine if anyone else traveling the highway that night had seen it.

It seems pretty strange.  It's amazing that this craft was powered by a completely silent force.  Could their technology be the solution to our energy crisis?
