A lifetime of sighting unknown objects

I am nearly 50 years of age and have probably been lucky to have seen quite a few sightings of unexplained description in my life time.
My very first recollection was in 1968, I was on holiday with my Grandparent's at Leysdown, The Isle of Sheppey in Kent, England. My Grandfather and I were walking the dog at about 10.00pm at night, it could have been earlier. As we walked along the sea wall Grandad noticed an unusual light in the sky. We watched it dance all over the night sky until it disappeared. We went back to the caravan and told my Nan all about what we had seen. The very next day as Grandad was reading the newspaper he said that what we had seen was a UFO as we were not the only ones that were watching the dancing light that night, quite a few people had seen it and it was in the newspaper. My Family emigrated to South Australia in 1970, in 1973 I was to see something unusual again, this time with my boyfriend. We had decided to go for a drive one night at the back of Edinburugh Air Base. As we were travelling down one of the dirt roads we saw what we thought was road work lights ahead, as we got closer the lights didn't look like work lights as they were pulsing and different colours, plus the lights were too big for work lights. I became scared and my boyfriend pulled over to the side of the road. He wanted to get closer but I was terrified. We decided to pull back, to cut the story short, we went and picked up a friend of my boyfriends who lived in Smithfield and went back to the same sight. There was nothing, we drove up and down the dirt road, nothing. Trying to convince my boyfriends friend at what we had seen made us feel as if we had been hallucinating. I must say here that we did not take drugs or drink at this time of our lives. I must make a statement here, that I have never been abducted or felt that I have been abducted, these are just strange footnotes that have happened in my life. The next sighting that happened was in about 1981. I was living in Elizabeth North in a street called Donnington Road. At the back of our yard was the Army Training ground for Tanks and the sort. My Husband, who was a different boyfriend of the time was working night shift. I was out of work for a short time and had decided to work my hours in the house around my Husbands shifts. At about 3 o'clock in the morning I was hanging out the washing, it was quite a warm night. As I bent down to the washing basket I was illuminated by an unusual light, and an unusual sound, it was not a hum, it was a vibration of some sort, I can't really explain. Again I was petrified, a multitude of thoughts were happening. I decided to keep calm and pretend that I had noticed nothing and carry on with my chores. In my side vision I could see something hovering over the top of the trees. I finished hanging out the washing and turned my back and went indoors as quickly as possible. Believe me, my heart was thumping, I was so scared. I kept back from the window and waited till the light went away. When it did, I rang my Husband up at work to ask him to come home, at this time I was quite upset. I told a couple of people, but you tend to know that they are sceptical and look at you as if you are a nutcase. The next time that I saw an unusual sight was approximately in 1987 - 1989, my Husband, myself and two children had gone to friends of ours in Gawler to watch the FA Cup as Manchester United were playing. I'm unsure of the year but know it was in that period of time as we only had the two children. It was quite late when we left to go home. We lived in Elizabeth Downs at the time. Whilst driving back down the Main North Road, I noticed what I thought at first was a plane or a helicopter flying roughly over the back area of Munno Para, but further back. Then the light in the sky started flipping all over the place, I mentioned it to my Husband and he glanced at it, as we were driving. He was quite pragmatic and said that it was probably a Harrier or something. I couldn't believe that it was a Harrier, I didn't think that any aircraft could do manouveres like what we witnessed. He dismissed it and so the subject was not brought up again. The next unusual sighting that I saw was in 1992, we were living in the Salisbury area. One of the kids had been sick and I had to clean all the bedding and clothes, it was about 2 o'clock in the morning, hanging out the sheets on the line a shooting star whizzed past, or what I thought was a shooting star whizzed passed, then whizzed past in the opposite direction. I stood watching this supposedly shooting light for about half an hour. It's ended direction was towards the Air Base at Edinburugh and made me start thinking that they were experimental planes from the Air Force. In 2002 myself and Five children moved to the Barossa Region. The night sky here is fantastic, you can see everything, satellites, stars everything is so clear. My Husband was incognieto for a short time, probably going through male menopause, however the house we lived in was quite isolated and on a hill, surrounded by nothing but vineyards. One night whilst watching TV in the lounge with three of the kids a huge object of light flew over and down from the house, then disappeared. My Son was the first to say something and then we all just were stunned at what we had all seen. There was no noise and it was so fast. I asked a few of the farmers the next day and was given looks as if I was an alien. The kids have spoken a few times about that night and no matter how we try there is no explaination for what we saw. This is the first time I have recounted to someone some of the unusual things that I have personally seen that I have been unable to explain. I know not to tell others as you are met with disbelief and looked upon as a crank. I keep my own counsel now and have told my kids to do the same. We can talk to each other, but that's about it. I just would like to know if the sightings I have seen are from us.
