Incredible UFO Experience Shared Among Friends

My last known encounter was 14 years ago, witnessed by 2 other aqaintences.  We actually became friends after sharing this profound experience.

I was 25 on a group ski trip staying in a condo rental with a bunch of friends, most of whom I didn't know well. 

Our condo was right on the lake. Everyone was partying inside that night and did not notice the very bright pink illumination emmanating from outside our sliding glass doors.

I was directly drawn to this over-powering light and went out on our deck. Two other guys (the aquaintences) noticed it as well: Terry Gatens and Christopher Kelsey...

We went outside and closed the sliding glass door. I remember us asking each other, "what the hell is this?"

In my mind I was sort of thinking it was an accident that we were about to witness.

Before we could say any more words to each other, the sky was filled with a very white & pink bright light.  This is where it becomes intense: suddenly the wind grew stronger as our hair and skin fought the strong pressure of this THING approaching the lake.  The strong winds continued as we starred in awe as the lake's water began to swirl into a whirlpool as this round object landed inside of it.

Then, the wind just stopped and everything became calm.  Left alone on the lake right in front of us was a huge flying saucer, still emanating a powerful light that lit up the whole night sky.   I knew this was a spaceship...

At this point it's hard to describe, but the ship started to spin as the middle part pushed up and circulated with a sharp red, green, blue and strong white lights.   Then it seemed to shut down as our environment started to darken and return to the black night it was. 

And for lack of better words, it just "cloned itself" and the one half zipped away.

The fading presence of the original remained for a few seconds.  As it faded away, an aura of blue haze hovered over the lake and the sky returned to it's original black darkness with a zillion stars out that night.

With tears streaming down our faces, we all hugged each other and went back inside.  We agreed never to discuss this with anyone else, only between each other.

14 years later I ran into Chris.  He confirmed our vision was exactly as I had remembered it.
