Dancing With The Stars

For the past two weeks, my wife and I have been paying a lot more attention to the sky at night.  It started when my super skeptical friend called me Aug 1st 11:00 pm to tell me he now believes in UFO's.  You see, I've always believed in the paranormal and supernatural, but most of my friends and family (including my wife) scoffed at me.  Well, the night my friend called changed a lot of that.  My wife and I went out onto the deck to observe the traveling lights my friend reffered us to.  Sure enough about 10 minutes later there they were, what I can only describe as stars traveling across the sky from south to north.  They were very high up, no blinking light, and moving fast.  While we were watching these two lights on either side of the sky (east and west) we witnessed another one moving from south to north and then another from north to west.  That's four of these in a five minute span.  So for the past two weeks everynight, almost, I have went out to observe the night sky and almost every night for the past two weeks either my wife and I or just myself have seen this very phenomina.  The most spectacular of all these events was two nights ago Aug. 13th my wife and I spotted one flying N.W. to S.E. a little lower and larger than most.  It travelled at a constant speed until right before our eyes it lit up brighter than a high beam, and shot off in the same direction it was going, only a lot faster.  It amazes me that no one else has reported this as it has been an ongoing occurance for so long.  Thanks for your time.

    Hi,

I have seen similar things many times in new Zealand and Australia.

I  was out at night time at a BBQ at a beachouse off corramandel in New Zealand where the sky and the stars are crystal clear at night time. I watched a small light very high up travel across the sky before it dissapeared. More recently, during the last exclipse of the moon, I was wandering up our road on Pittwater NSW and was observing several lights as you describe above travelling in different directions. probably 2 or 3 different lights.

The most interesting observance however was one night when i went for a walk with a friend on the beach up at Palm beach on the bay side. I was looking up at the night sky when i saw an unusual small triangle of lights high amongst the stars ...then i noticed one of them moving in a strange manner within a small area near the other two lights.  Then all of a sudden the triangle broke up and they all moved away iin different directions towards the horizons and upwards on one case towards the stars before losing sight of them all. My friend also watched them for about 10 minutes ( whilst describing other ufo's he had seen through the years) or so before we dicided that our show had ended and we went home.

Last but not least I was describing this incident to our neighbour during an evening walk on our road and we saw another light travelling across the sky during our conversation travelling down from a high point towards the horizon..
