Strange Slow, Low-flying, Boomerang Object Seen Above House

This was actually last summer in Phoenix, Arizona. It was a cloudy day about 5:00PM and while I was swimming in my pool I saw a strange object very slowly hovering and low-flying above my house.

Phoenix Lights Return on 10th Anniversary

Lights appear over Phoenix on the exact date marking 10 years since the original incident in 1997. On that day in '97 a significant UFO event occured which had thousands of Phoenix residents, including Doctors, lawyers, and Police Officers, reporting the sighting. Many described it as a giant triangular object, with gun metal black material, hovering slowly and silently.

The military's official explanation was that the event was a training exercise involving flares. This time, the explanation is provided once again.
