UFO Crash in Iran
Submitted by UFO Guy on Fri, 01/12/2007 - 05:00.
A huge explosion resulting from a giant fireball falling down from the sky occured in Iran on Wednesday morning.
Deputy Governor General of Kerman province Abulghassem Nasrollahi denied reports that the explosion was the result of a plane or helicopter crash, reminding that all the passing aircrafts have been reported as sound and safe.
Nasrollahi said there were no conclusive witnesses to a meteor, but did not dismiss the possibility that it was a meteor. However, this could be unlikely considering meteors do not typically smoke - media sources claim that the object had a huge trail of black smoke on it's decent.
With the current state of military action in Iran, it is very likely that the object may have been a high tech satellite or espionage device.
The crash was witnessed by people in several nearby cities. A similar incident was reported just days prior to this event.
